Summer Games in perspective
Paul Chapman from the Province newspaper has written a very good article about the games Langley just finished hosting. And from all reports the games were a resounding success.
More importantly, he has put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) and discussed the importance of the coaches in sport and the profound effect sports can have on our kids.
Having been a coach in the soccer ranks for a number of years with my son here in Langley and now watching my younger brother and my wife guide my daughters team I give a whole hearted cheer for Mr Chapman and this article.
