48th Annual Langley Walk - May 2, 2010 Register: 12:30p

The 48th annual Langley Walk takes place on Sunday, May 2, with on-site registration starting at 12:30 p.m. and the walk beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Willoughby Community Park is located in the 7700 block of 202A Street (adjacent to the Langley Events Centre).

Did you know . . .

- The Langley Walk is absolutely free, for everyone — young and old and in between — to participate in.

- The Langley Walk is Fido friendly — so bring your four-legged family member on his/her leash, of course.

- New this year: pre-registration. You can contact your recreation offices in the Township and City to register now.

The first 100 people to register will receive a gift from sponsor Sudden Impact.

- The first 1,000 finishers of the Langley Walk will receive a commemorative crest to add to their collection, or to start a new collection with.

- Trophies are given out in the following categories: most walkers from an elementary school; most walkers from a secondary school; the oldest walker; most walkers from an organization; most walkers from a family and most creatively dressed walker.
