Langley Childrens' Community Choir Concert in Vancouver

We spent the day in Vancouver with the Langley Community Choir on Sunday. Made up of children from the Langley area and from different schools up to pre-teen in age.

Beautiful weather greeted all of the singers and families from Langley into the heart of downtown. Across from the Hotel Vancouver is Christ Church Cathedral built in 1880. A stunning building inside. The kids performed during Mass and their voices carried beautifully throughout the church. They represented Langley well.

After performing at the church we all walked down the street to the Vancouver Art Gallery. Despite a little noise coming from the restaurant, again the kids were great.....their rendition of The Beatles 'Good Night' was a highlight.

The rest of the day was spent on Granville Island and on a sunny early spring day only reinforces why we live here.

Way to go Patti Thorpe and Kim Hardy for their tireless instruction.....and Heather Hicks as the piano accompanist....many thanks!
