Fall 2005
Fall 2005
B.C.'s economy continued to pump out jobs during the 3rd quarter. Increased incomes and people moving to our province in search of career opportunities has boosted activity in both the resale and new home markets.
Resale activity is well above last year's pace and on track to top 100,000 transactions....!
New listings, although rising, remain relatively low in comparison to resales resulting in upward price pressure. The average resale price in BC was up 19% in September from year-earlier levels.
The above is taken from Market Insight CMHC. www.cmhc.ca
